The actor will talk about his new book, Stories I Must Tell: The Emotional Life of an Actor, interact with the attendees, and sign books purchased from Kunzum.
The book is Bedi’s candid memoir, where he bares his soul for the first time. It holds plenty of stories from his life: a magical encounter with The Beatles as a student in Delhi, his sudden move to Bombay, his exciting years in advertising, his successful career abroad, and many painful setbacks. The book also explores Bedi’s romantic relationships—with Protima Bedi and Parveen Babi—and his three divorces. There are stories set in Hollywood, Bollywood, and Europe. He even tells a fascinating love story of his Indian father—a philosopher in Europe—and his British-born mother, the world’s highest-ranked Buddhist nun.
