A quick scan of ground reality shows that a woman’s primary job is to multitask. And she MUST prove to be the best at each job that she handles simultaneously. One of these jobs is motherhood. A woman may not look at loving and looking after her own child as a job. But it starts looking like one when the world prepares an appraisal sheet about it every now and then. And mostly, the sheet contains negative remarks.
‘The Reluctant Mother’ is the story about one such, or every, mother. And author Zehra Naqvi is at Kunzum on 24 April to talk openly about this important subject. Come over!
