Just so there is a clear understanding of how this program works, we have shared a few points below. It is not really a binding document but more of a guidance and may thus be read as such.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Kunzum Key is for those who love their books, and are keen on being a part of a community keen to promote the cause of literature, arts and culture.
MEMBERSHIP – ANNUAL & RENEWABLE
Membership is offered on an annual basis. The current charges are Rs. 2500 for the first year and Rs. 2000 for each year subsequently.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
You are a special member of our community, and deserve privileges as highlighted in the following sections. There would be more surprises along the way – we shall keep you updated.
YOUR (VIRTUAL) CARD
We will issue one to you with your name on it. Save it on your mobile and show it when you visit any store to avail of privileges reserved for you. You are requested to show this card to avail of any member privileges; it may not be possible for us to credit any discounts and offers retrospectively.
SHOPPING VOUCHERS
All members get shopping vouchers worth Rs. 2000 when signing up and renewing their memberships.
BOOK BOX
All new members receive a welcome pack in a box containing a Kunzum mug, journal, premium tote or book sleeve, a mystery book and other surprises.
SPECIAL / SIGNED EDITIONS OF BOOKS
Kunzum Key members will be the first to receive intimation of any collectible and giftable books before being offered to others.
WI-FI
We would be happy to share the Wi-Fi password with you should you need it. But we discourage the use of laptops and tablets in our stores – should any of our staff request you not to use yours, please cooperate with them.
COFFEE!
Your welcome pack comes with a set of coupons to avail of complimentary coffee / tea with our signature secret cookies – use them for yourself and your friends. You can get additional ones as per store policy.
SPECIAL DISCOUNTS ON BOOKS AT KUNZUM
Don’t we all love books? We are happy to extend a special discounts off on your purchases, with a few exceptions. We are currently offering 15 percent off but this may be modified from time to time.
INVITATIONS TO EVENTS
Kunzum hosts events on a regular basis – we will keep you informed about the same should any interest you. There may be conditions to attendance – but there is always something special for KEY members.
FAIR USE POLICY
We expect a fair use of facilities and privileges being extended to you. We expect you to be in the stores for everything books and culture – and not for use as a de-facto co-working place. The spaces may be required for events and use by other guests too, and there may thus be limitations. Do cooperate with our staff should they require you to make adjustments.
SUBJECT TO CHANGE
We may require some of the above to change from time to time, usually to only add to the delight. The same may also vary from store to store. You may visit this section to keep yourself updated.
