Navdeep Suri is all set to talk about his latest translation, Hymns in Blood, with an elite panel featuring Aanchal Malhotra, author of books like Remnants of Partition and In the Language of Remembering, chef and author Suvir Saran, National Award awardee Sanjoy Roy, and Sufi singer-composer Sonam Kalra. Held in association with Public Diplomacy Forum and Harper Collins India, this Kunzum Book Club event will be held at Kunzum Lounge, Jorbagh, at 6.30PM on October 10.
First published in February 1948, the novel was originally written in Punjabi and titled Khoon de Sohile. This is the first time it has been translated into English. The heart-wrenching tale centres around a family preparing for Lohri in a village near Rawalpindi in 1947 when the partition of India sends them on a dangerous journey across newly drawn borders.
WHO CAN ATTEND

GOOD REASONS FOR YOU TO ATTEND
