If it’s the weekend, the young must be at Kunzum. To lose themselves in a world of books, stories, art and other creative activities.
Children are full of ideas, fresh ideas. And stories make these ideas materialise. It’s when children read and tell, and listen to, stories, that their minds get the nudge to discover these oven-fresh ideas lying hidden behind their unspoiled instincts.
When they feel their imagination getting fired up, they will have been glad to be a part of the Kunzum Book Bees community.
While the programs are designed for those under 13, we encourage even teenagers and adults to attend – because a good story is for everyone to savour.
Each session will have a mix to keep participants engaged. These include:
Buy a book at Kunzum and read while you are there.
Professionals will bring stories and characters to life with their inimitable animations and expressions.
Children have their own stories waiting to be narrated. They can – in longhand on paper! Editors from the publishing industry have promised to give their feedback.
Recreate the cover of a favourite book. Make impressions of much-loved characters. Narrate a story graphically. Using art materials available or bring your own.
Quizzes and More
Put your knowledge of books to test – and participate in quizzes and other contests designed for fun.
Be in your own quiet zone – pick up an activity sheet and immerse yourself in it.
We will always have gifts to give away – to those who show themselves to be at their enthusiastic and creative best!
