Children are full of ideas, fresh ideas, fresh out of the oven. And stories make these ideas materialise. It’s when children read and tell, and listen to, stories, that their minds get the nudge to discover these oven-fresh ideas lying hidden behind their unspoiled instincts.
So then, here comes Kunzum’s Book Bees, to bring stories to kids, the reading, the making and the telling, of them.
Book Bees is a club where kids learn how to create stories, and narrate them the right way and make sense of them as they are narrated to them. It’s a story club where kids… learn.
Who Are These Sessions For?
While they are designed for those under 13, we encourage even teenagers and adults to attend – because a good story is for everyone to enjoy.
You will learn (over multiple sessions), among many things books, and publishing, and storytelling, how to:
- How to fire their imagination when they hear a good story narrated with animations and expressions.
- Write a good story.
- Create characters of a story.
- Make a good book cover.
- Write a graphic or picture book.
- Give a good title to a story or a book.
You can expect to meet authors, editors at publishing houses, professional storytellers and others who know what stories are all about. Sessions will be co-conducted and moderated by Kunzum’s managing editor, Shruti Kohli. Scroll to the end to know
