Club Kunzum: Climb up Mount Kenya, and go on Wild Safaris in Masai Mara- July 19, 2012

Are you ready for an adventure, and to explore the wilds of Kenya? Then read on…

Climb Mt. Kenya with this once in a lifetime opportunity. Often eclipsed by the popularity of neighbouring Kilimanjaro, Mt. Kenya is no less spectacular. With lower crowd density, stunning landscapes and challenging climbs, it is rated as one of the most satisfying summit climbs in the world. This route uses the gentlest ascent track on the mountain and with an additional day at 4,200 m for acclimatization offers high chances for a successful summit conquer. This combination of routes is rated as one of the most spectacular. Passing up through montane forest, bamboo and heather zones to glaciers, then down past spectacular chasms, jagged peaks and the glaciated “U” shaped valleys and waterfalls and with additional splendor of viewing the high peaks from different angles while doing the acclimatization trek along the peak circuit trail.   After the rigours of trekking for 6 days, embark on a classic short safari taking you to Lake Nakuru and a few nights in the famed Masai Mara National Reserve.

Group Departure: July 19, 2012
