Driving from Daman to Ratnagiri: The Great Arabian Sea Drive Day 13

The disappointing drive of the previous day did not last long – no sooner had I crossed the Mumbai that my mood changed. As did the landscape.

I was in the Konkan region of the Western Ghats – as green as any place can get, with mountainous roads, with rivers and the sea to give you company (not throughout, but in many parts).

The Konkan Railway Line with trains chugging along give you company too – sometimes parallel to you, and sometimes over you as you drive under bridges. Must be an experience just taking a ride in one.

Here go some images for you to visualize my drive better
