A view of Kaza from up above

All you need to do is drive around to be left awestruck. Natural rock formations, the wide expanses formed by the Spiti river bed, snow-capped peaks waiting to be summitted, deep gorges, traditional Spitian villages, ancient Buddhist monasteries and their festivals, trekking routes – you cannot go wrong here. It is truly a wonder on this planet.

Not to be missed highlights include:
* The Key Monastery, perched high up for a beautiful setting
* The Komic Monastery and its annual festival at one of the highest settlements on this planet. No one will tell you about this.
* Spectacular landscapes as you drive around to the high altitude villages of Hikkim, Langza, Kibber, Chicham and more.
* Meet local Spitians – language barriers never come in the way of instant friendship.
