Club Kunzum and Geck & Co Adventurers, bring you a chance to explore the natural beauty of the forest cover the capital once boasted of, but only exists in tiny pockets scattered around the city now. Quietly tucked away, Asola wildlife sanctuary is one such haven that few Delhiites know about. Join us for a day hike on Sunday, April 17 to experience the hidden beauty of Delhi.
The walk begins from close to Karni Singh Shooting range in Tughlakabad on the Delhi border, located less than 10 kms from Nehru Place. We start our 10 km hike into the forested Aravallis, past 5 pristine lakes, sharing the trail with the wildlife of the region (including Camels, Fox, Neelgai, Porcupine, Langurs, Monkeys). The trail provides excellent views of the hills and lakes.
What to bring?
You should carry the following things for this hike:
1) Hiking shoes/Sneakers
2) Water (atleast 11/2 liters)
3) Snacks (Chocolates, candy)
5) Swimming trunks/suit and a towel in case you want to go to the lakes for a dip.
