This is a part of a series on Petra in Jordan (not possible to cover all in one post).
The Siq, the passage to the city of Petra, was formed by the natural splitting of the mountain. In the process, fascinating rock formations were created, each shape depicting something eye catching. Just like clouds in the sky, you see what you imagine. And many of these look like life forms – alive, or dead, or deadly. You will never sit alone inside the Siq – but some of these folks looking at you may want your wishing for solitude though. Enjoy!
