Meet Omkar Sane: An author from Mumbai, for his bread and butter, Omkar writes brochures. For his wine and cheese, he writes scripts for promos. For his rum and coke, he writes columns. For his friends, he writes resignation letters. For his amusement, he writes status messages. When he’s doing none and all of these, he writes books. He has written two books until now, called ‘Welcome To Advertising. Now Get Lost‘ and ‘Coming Soon. The End‘.
All India Permit – Omkar will be hosting an illustrated talk at Kunzum Travel Cafe wherein he will talk about reasons we travel and how our experiences vary wherever we go; how our roots or home-towns dictate our experiences. Being an astute Mumbaikar, he will talk about how being used to the fizzing energy of a cosmopolitan city – a typical Mumbaikar behaves on a vacation, what drives him to take one, and so on. He will also talk about how people from different cities take to their vacations – what a Delhi guy, if he were to go to a place would feel or infer as compared to some guy from a small town…
