Hi. I am going to Haridwar in April specifically to photograph the KM. I am working on a Royal Photographic Society Fellowship. Everything is arranged and paid for. I have just heard from a travel photographer colleague that there have been some issues in Haridwar whereby the police are preventing photographers without official passes from photographing the event – or possibly gaining access to bathing and other sensitive areas. Has anyone any information they can share with me on this subject? If so It wil be much appreciated. If passes are required can anyone help me by advising where I can get one.
